“Ok.”
“Do you want to live in St. Louis?”
“Not really.”
“But you will, right?”
“Oh yeah.”
“St. Louis could be cool, right?”
“…..”
“We could finally see that big ol’ arch you’re always talking about.”

I hear the cost of living in St. Louis is pretty decent. You could live in a nicely sized apartment and still have $$ left over for food.

I really think that not enough is said about the value of having a place large enough to plausibly deny the existence of your significant other. If you can hear them breathing, you can’t do that.

I have actually heard pretty decent things about St Louis as well. All my actual STL memories are from childhood trips, though. I went up in the arch! a very long time ago!

We just had this convo last night, but our options were DC and Boston. Goodbye any money ever.

I have a good friend from St. Louis and he really likes baseball. So there is that…

Matt and I split up because I did not want to move to St Louis. And while there is a giant park that is comparable to Central Park in the middel of the city and yes, there is an on campus movie theatre that plays weird movies on the weekends and one kinda alt-movies theatre at the Bougie Mall, and some decent thrift possibilities… there is no fucking culture. It will make Iowa seem like Chicago by comparison.

Stuff to do: go to the park, ride bikes, go to the mall. There is a farmers market, but it’s weird and like, basically like a shitty grocery store, but outside and with shrimp. The only good place to eat we found in 2 years of trying is an Indian place.

ST LOUIS IS BOGUS. I WILL NOT UPSELL IT.
