how did Palio's get knocked down to the 'not that great' category? they serve Stumptown, and serve it just fine. the atmosphere there is pretty boring, but we have established that atmosphere doesn't count.

Coava has this thick, sour taste that grosses me out, while Tanager (yes, that's the CJ bean) is smooth and not sour. I think coffee connoisseurs love that sharp sour vibe (I'm sure this is the wrong word, also, but it's all I can come up with) but I like a chocolately smooth vibe. Because I am a philistine! That's ok
I'm having a Tanager pour over right now and it is delightful. My refill will be RC, my first time tasting it, and I will report back.
I think you don't like "bright" coffee, YT, which is trending right now! I bet you like African beans better than Central American beans! Deeper, muskier, earthier. I even bet you prefer a Cabernet Sauvignon to a Pinot Noir - same idea!

They have switched to the smaller, local brand, "Rose Line."
In addition to the beans roasted by their own barista, C.J.
??
I'm having some RIGHT NOW
I have learned my own ignorance in the realm of coffee via Coava, which I do not like but know I am supposed to
also how I feel about a lot of visual and performance art
The CJ beans are Tanager, right?
YT, what is it you like about the Tanager that you don't like about Coava?

Will report back some other time re: relative merits of RC
I haven't seen an RC cola in ten years
Amirite?
THANK YOU!
