Hope all is well in the East. In my opinion, the city manager form of government allows lesser council members. We are in desperate need of greater council members.
But change is constant, so there will always be discussion of neighborhood council seats and a city manager system.
As an odd note, Jerry Springer was a council member and mayor of my home town beyond my time. He is smart and a good leader, but has too much baggage from his show. I know Jefferson Smith - he is a good leader, but has some demonstrated personality issues.
Who knows where/when/if we will find the Zen/Taoist/Buddhist leader who would enter muddy politics?April 2016 -
