I'm at 92% of my gmail storage. How do you delete most of 56,000 messages?
I mean conceptually how do you do it. How do you even push the button. How do I know which ones I will maybe need later? I use my search function constantly, looking up shit in emails that are years old.
Is there any sort of culling function or method you can tell me about? You can't go through and like mark each individual email as "keep" or "delete," when there's 56,000.

Look at the pics, decide which pics are keepers.
?!
holy shit
is there a way to select all, like ALL, instead of having to "select all" on each page over and over again until they're all gone?
you are joking me!
it's no jokes!
As I sit here deleting and deleting I think ruefully of when gmail first became a thing and it was like "NEVER DELETE ANYTHING AGAIN! SO MUCH STORAGE!" and it was so exciting, and it was like "oh wow I'll NEVER fill that thing up" and now look. It's a metaphor! Then I started thinking about how my students were like 9 years old when gmail became a thing, but I was at that point already a legal secretary of whom people were already frantically asking when I would have babies because it was almost too late. Now here I am, no babies and an almost-full gmail account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD HAPPEN TO ME"
the metaphor still stands
"MoveOn"
DAMN
ON BOTH COUNTS !
I have so many pen pals
what are pen pals when it's email?
type pals
key pals
e-pals
E-PALS
GIVE ME LONG EMAILS OR GIVE ME DEATH
Stop archiving emails you should be deleting!

How did I go from 85% to 99% in just 8 months??
Did you do a bunch of emailing audio tracks or something? PDFs?
15% of 8 gigs is like, almost a gig (I'm bad at math). That is a big jump in 8 months.
Maybe your emails are just really long and take up more space than other people's, in kilobytes?
Did you try to email your hard drive to Sarah McDoogan?
Is Gary hiding his logs in there?
Wait a minute, where's Gary?
