Is anyone using CenturyLink?

  • So glad I didn't end up using CenturyLink:

We went with Comcast again, since CenturyLink fucked up their installation date. Don't love em, but their customer support seems marginally better than CL.
  • Fucking Comcast has not been able to set up our internet because they haven't canceled the previous tenant's internet, despite that person asking for it to be canceled.
    WTF
I hate all of these companies so much.
  • When I moved, I had to create an entirely new login for Comcast. They couldn't just change the service address on my account.
  • But when I'm plugged in with an ethernet cord, I get 120 Mbps, so that's cool.

I had century link copper and a local ISP intenet in my last apartment. I moved in with my Gf and Century link screwed up and kept charging me for five months. They fixed it and refunded me, and now we use comcast.
I'm tempted to switch back for the gigabit though, which is now available. It's the same price as my 200mg service and there is no cap. I doubt I would actually see any speed increase though...
