OMG, that first one!
Burly man with Kentucky accent holding deer baby is really fucking wonderful.

Nothing is nicer than a baby deer, and I desperately want to see, talk to, sit next to one.
That being said, people shouldn't really touch them or move them! Just a PSA, almost all baby deer are left alone during the day and they are not lost or starving!

I want to touch pretty much all plants and animals and have to restrain and remind myself very diligently that I'm not s'posed to.

Someday I'll pay to go to one of those wildlife reserves where animals that can't be released are having nice lives and people with $$ can respectfully meet them.

I grew up with a guy whose mom ran a wildlife refuge for wounded or otherwise un-re-releasable animals and one of them was a MOUNTAIN LION who lived with them as a pet, and this dude slept in a bed with it every night. It was 8 feet long and massive. And one time I farted and blamed it on the mountain lion and everyone believed it; still my greatest achievement

As a teen I volunteered at the humane society in san diego and there was this one pissy lop who would dump out its food everywhere after I clean its cage. There were also pretty chill chinchillas that I got to give dust baths.

I had a lop who was a mean son of a bitch. I still have scars on my chest from him clawing me. He'd do that food-dump thing too!
To be fair, he didn't exactly have a fun life. Poor dude.
He was so soft

I'm not crazy about the new gig, but I love biking down the spring water trail to sellwood. Today I saw two deer, just 20' away. It was pretty great.
