  • That makes more sense. I'm sure he's well aware of the irony of attempting to critique corporate power while working for Viacom.
  • What do you mean "criticize corporate power"?
Do you wish his criticisms were more cutting?

He has criticized a lot of things I would throw in the corporate power category:

He criticizes "Wall Street" in general all the time.
He criticizes the New York Stock exchange all the time
He dropped Jim Cramer's (a weak financial analyst, granted) ratings 20% by criticizing his trading practices.
He has criticized congress and Obama both for passing such weak financial reform.
He has criticized both Wal-Mart and Target.
He has criticized credit card companies.
He is the only interviewer I have seen ask Ron Paul about the risks of corporatism that libertarian philosophy create.

I mean...I guess his critiques are in the form of jokes most of the time so maybe they aren't as damning as they could be?

    I am interested. Elaborate.

  • To be fair, I haven't watched him much since he hasn't been on hulu.

Something happened. I don't care anymore. I like when I find new genius in my neighborhood. It happens quite a bit, actually.

People should listen to the Das Kapital podcasts at DavidHarvey.org. and practice visualizing the economic system from the ground up. Keep one hopeful eye open for Jubilee.
  • I always keep my eye open for Jubilee.

  • I agree. That video was pretty good.

I want more boring TV where two people just sit in chairs and talk to each other.
