Slippers Recommendations
I need new slippers, due to my dog eating the old ones.
I would like a nice toasty house shoe that is not stupid looking or synthetic but that is also not leather
or else is used, but that's gross right?
my slippers the dog ate were used, but they were used by Jae Choi whose tiny paws I have no problem with
Where does a gal go for new slippers? I'd love a nifty felted recycled wool deal but they seem expensive.
Must I spent $40? If so I will, I just want to know if there are better options
perhaps the best option is that you have been given a pair of fancy house shoes (LL Bean perhaps) for christmas, but you hate house shoes and are wracking your brains for some way to get rid of them, and you are a woman with roughly a size 7 foot

I've been saving since the first of the year to buy a pair of velvet crown slippers... hopefully will have enough by April...
but I'm more of a fuzzy sheepskin sort of a stomper

Because of course we all want comfy, shlubby, slippers that will be like a gentle sigh of relief to put on. But the problem is one of ambition, and I fear that putting on an overly comfy slipper is a dangerous way to begin your period of relaxation. Don't dress based on what you are likely to do, but dress based on what you want to do! Slippers can be inspirational to living the life of leisure and class you always dreamed.
So I ask you to reconsider the awkward and likely uncomfortable velvet crown slipper. While wearing these you will be inspired to settle into your armchair and read heavy books with a brandy snifter in hand and occasionally patting the head of your snoopy instead of crawling up into the couch with a fuzzy blanket and a cocoa and watching hulu.
