€uros

edited January 2012
I need 950 euros for my upcoming trip to Paris, France.

Does anyone have any euros to sell me? At a competitive rate?

Thank you,
Andrew

  • I just had to do this for Cuba -- I would suggest going to Wells Fargo downtown, the main branch. They charge $5, free if you are a WF member. There's also the currency exchange at PDX, which offers competitive rates compared to other exchanges in Portland. Wells Fargo is the only bank in town that keeps large amounts of euros on hand; otherwise you have to order them from your bank of choice up to a week in advance.

I suggest hiring Mike to broker a deal with Xxxx.
He got me a great deal on euros. And I didn't have to pay him!

Many of the ATMs in Europe give out Euros.
  • I already emailed my source and the euro isn't easy to find at decent rates.

    DON'T RAT OUT MY SOURCE!
  • SORRY!!!!!!!!!

Surely Xxxx isn't the only (wo)man in town with euros though, right??? We are a traveling bunch. Too bad Xxxx is in Xxxxxx with Xxxxxx or (s)he might be able to give you some.....(s)he's in the same [redacted] as Xxxx, thus travels the same amount!
  • GUESS WHAT I JUST SAID
  • Oh... I know. They are both in XXXXX.
  • You are fiendishly clever
  • Thank you to @Bobby_Briggs and everybody else GET BENT.
