I buy the men's once daily multivitamin from Trader Joe's. I don't know, it works for me. I don't really notice a difference physically, I just take it to cover my bases since I'm know I'm not getting all the necessary vitamins and minerals from my diet every day.
What does make a difference is a couple Flax Seed Oil capsules for the Omega-3s. Definitely less depressed since I started taking these.
I know a lot of people say the same. Have you ever bought a high end vitamin? It seems like a lot of people just do the trader joes route. I used to. I don't know...when I invest in the higher end ones I definitely feel noticeably better.
I'm skeptical of the idea that high-end vitamins are worth the extra money, but I do like that RAW One doesn't have more than 100% RDA on most of its ingredients. One thing I hate about buying vitamins is finding a multi that doesn't have like 800% or 1000% of certain vitamins/minerals. I don't need that much! It just comes out in your pee, anyway.
All One is believed by many to be top quality. The cheaper ones often do next to no good- quality is very important, as is following the directions (with food, etc)
Expensive vitamins can be waaaaay better for you if they are made of whole condensed real food sources! Seriously, it helps your body absorb the vitamins and minerals because they are accompanied by the appropriate enzymes & trace elements to, like bind them or activate them or something science-y like that. Forgive me, I'm tired, but it's real!
Our first winter in the PNW I finally understood why people take Vitamin D guys. I've never taken a vitamin because it feels like it is losing something when converted from real food to pill. Michael Pollan or someone might have said that.

Your body thinks synthetic vitamins are dumb.
