DEAR SNOW, ARE YOU GONNA BE HERE WHY ARE YOU FALL I HEARD THERE WAS ICE IN YOU YOU LIVE IN THE CLOUDS LIKE RAIN BUT HARDER MAYBE SCHOOL WILL BE CANCELED MY STUDENTS WILL BE SO GLAD TO MISS HAYDN'S BORING STRING QUARTET THERE I SAID IT
Snow is SUPER SRS in Seattle today. Downtown was intense, two to three inches in as many hours. Now in South Seattle, still falling lightly with two inches on the ground.
Dr J, wish I could have tagged you while downtown earlier. My young friend Mila and I successfully made a large snowman (looked more like an owl) before it slushified too much.
GUYS! We got like 3 inches in Portland, starting at 8pm. I roused Jason Wall at 11:30pm after I went to the gym and we went about the neighborhood, sledding and snow-skateboarding, and then we got a whiskey at Tiga, and then sledded down 17th!
I feel like it's melting now, though (2:26am). It'll probably be slush by regular morningtime.
I love the snow so much. Realizing that I need to spend more time in it. Want to buy a cheap shitty cabin at Mt Hood.
It was a noisy night in my quadruple-skylight studio. Those plastic domes have an amplified way of responding to the most delicate patter of rain, snow, pinecones, and falling tree branches. The sounds escalated last night in that order. After the biggest "explosion," my cat found a dusty place to hide and stayed there until I asked after her this morning. She is still traumatized. Pupils maxxed out, body low, motormouth off, alert to the most commonplace sounds. There is a big damn branch in front of the door!
I didn't notice any storm or snow until I got up in the morning for the snoopy's morning shit. The ground was covered with approximately .5 inches of real heavy slush. The snoopy refused to shit upon it. There were weird tracks in it too, like a small animal had cross-country skied across my yard.
I drove to school in slush and now it appears to be merely rough gray rain. Very cozy times! Can't wait to get home and into my jammers and my hot ginger teas and my Hulu Plus

Whoa just looked.
Whoa. Inches.
Sounds crazy up in Seattle!
My steep street by the downtown library was slomo rollerderby for several hours.
Temp is hanging around 34, so we are all slushed out. No more snopocalypse. Probably going to be very icy tonight though.
What's up with that.
S'pposed to get more tonight and tomorrow. I'm into it, though it is pretty hard on some people.
I worry about folks. :o
WTF SNOW
I just checked weather.com. 90%-100% chance of getting 3-8 inches of snow by wednesday? Winter Storm Alert? Ice and Snow?
Now I'm scared my class will be canceled. What a huge pain! Damn kids!
Also what up 206? I hear it's supposed to dump more on you guys!

For midgets! Seems like a pretty good deal for a mtn. cabin though.
