lava lamp appreciation thread
guys! after doing some cleaning and organizing recently I found an old lava lamp in a box that dates back to my college years. i plugged it in and have been really enjoying it the past few days! it just plops and blobs and is really a nice thing to have around.

It is 4 feet tall and weights 125 lbs and boy does it ever flow...They would still be making them today if they had just not made them as cheap as they did. There first run in 2007 was there best run. The glass globe was old new stock that were made in Germany. In 2008 they were made in China and many had problems. Finding one today in good condition is very hard since many are cloudy and sticking to the inner glass. However owning one is still the ultimate in Lava Lamps."
