I'm sure everyone is working on their new catchphrases for 2012.

Today I'm trying out, "Bingo."

I think it's working for me, both as an earnest confirmation and as a droll aside.

I'm a big fan of antiquated slang. My two that I like right now are "boss" as in "Those cargo shorts are so boss." the other one is "gleam a cube" which I'm not sure what proper usage entails yet. I know it originated in skateboarding. I'm going to experiment.

I also love antiquated slang but even more antiquated, like "sounds like a real rowdy-dow!" or calling something a "gee gaw"

I think "gleam the cube" is made up Hollywood faux-skateboarding slang.

"In the Simpsons episode Lemon of Troy, Bart and a young Shelbyville boy skate past a female doppelganger of Groundskeeper Willy, who screams after them, "Slow down, ya sidewalk surfin, cube gleamers!" The movie is referenced again in the episode To Surveil With Love when Ned Flanders tells Bart to "Stop gleaming that cube!" as he is watching Bart skateboard down the sidewalk."
