  We're thinking about moving to a more modern forum platform like http://microco.sm, which my friend David in London built.
  
  Any thoughts, anybody? They have a rad built-in event system and it's hosted, so we don't have to deal with updates and such.

  Alex, do you know any examples using this service? I'm always on the lookout for the "best" forum software.

  I started a test UHX one if anybody wants to sign up. It's a stock install with no customizations: http://uhx.microco.sm
  
  You can create multiple "Forums" which have multiple conversations within each forum.
  
  If I know anything about David, it's that he's a super smart and rad dude. I kinda trust him to do something good with this.
  
  And I think it's a flat fee of £5 a month once it's out of beta?
  
  There's also Discourse which is more open-sourcey and free to install on your own servers but probably more maintenance in the long-term: http://www.discourse.org

  We're running discourse on the kmikeym forums. No real complaints, but I like Vanilla more than Discourse.
