Help Me Name This Music
Hello,
I'm going to be playing some shows in the next few months. The music is me playing my analog modular that I built:
With a police scanner playing live, and some other musics.
It is melodic and ambient and not noisy and squelchy like many modular-centric shows.
Originally, I set up a nerdy, hard to use Phillip K Dick inspired site for this music: newpathcommune.com
And I thought I would talk about Substance D before shows and use it as a metaphor for digital submersion and kind of prop up my current old-man anti-recording just live in the moment stuff.
But that seems rather silly right now.
Another option is to title the project Duets with Police Scanner, but then I have to change it if I ever get off the police scanner kick....
Another option is to just call it my name, but then I would have to run it under my art site, and I'm not sure this belongs there...
so:
a) New Path Commune
b) Duets with Police Scanner
c) Abraham Ingle
d) _____________
Thoughts?
Oh - this is from a year ago, but it is the closest thing to what the music now sounds like - I was just fucking around with modular drums and synths and piano:

Right now it just appears to be static though.

new path commune is a great band name.
if anyone ever asks you can tell them.
