Dunno if anybody else does Soundcloud/Bandcamp but might be a way to find/discover/share new stuff?
I'll start:
https://soundcloud.com/affine-records/okmalumkoolkat-holy-oxygenOkmalumkoolkat is a rapper from South Africa who did a bunch of stuff with these producer dudes LV from London. This is one of his first solo tracks. Not shitty white art rap like Die Antwoord.

May not be a sustainably GREAT BAND but the way music culture works in 2014 NOTHING IS. It's all about moments.
Just that's not the focus of the music media or culture around music these days.
There's more benefit for having a celebrity in your music video or having beef these days than making a great record. Kinda dark.
I really like this remix of a song by Schwarz on the homie Juiceboxxx's label Thunder Zone that has Memphis legend rapper La Chat on it. Schwarz is like motivational positive club music.

this podcast I listen to (Who Charted) one of the hosts (Howard Kremer) makes fun music too. He has this whole life philosophy called HAVE A SUMMAH. He's made a summah record the last 3 years. The hit off this years record is a song called GU CRUISE which is about an orangutan taking you on a jet ski ride. It's a real journey

I also really like the song on the album called GAY FOR POSEIDON
http://howardkremer.bandcamp.com/track/gay-for-poseidon
john denver on backing vocals
so clear and sad and true
also the string synth and harpsichord
and the one descending guitar part reminds me of the era of acoustic post rock minimalism of gaster de sol and smog produced by jim orrork for some reason
its like anti positive gospel vocal house, all the vocal samples say depressing/lonely things, juxtaposed with the acid house that u imagine gets played at 3 am at a cool secret location rsvp only warehouse party that yr too tired and old to go. it hits a chord if u live in LA and dont see anyone you know for days on end
New she from Nick Krgovich:

I watched the videos this morning in post show glow. The videos are a little too silly compared to the live experience i had. Their first two songs last night were seriously like the 4 dudes doing a rad NEU jam and then then the 2 guitarists would blast insane harmonized guitars over the top in a cool way.
such rob walmart
very based
oh u dont?
well this dude robb bank$ has a good song here, plus he's shaggy's son and he's real into anime (saw it on some youtube side link) because he is a young little baby
i like his voice and flow
