    I had some weird korean tofucakes with spinach for dinner (awesome) then went to see a high school band at a VFW hall. They played covers of Pixies, Talking Heads, and Ramones (not so great) and then came home and played Xbox for 3 hours (so out of character for me!)

    Went to the beach! Stayed in this absolutely amazing cabin in Gearheart that my friend's family has owned for 40+ years. The grandpa must have been quite a character based on all the mementos hanging from the walls. Big swordfish above the mantle. "Republican of the year!" Lots of pictures with George Bush Sr.

    6 mile hike, lots of coffee and reading and card games and apple crisp and other feasting. So good.
