to-do

oh damn! what a productive morning it has been for me! No big deal but I am the most productive person who has ever lived! Nuts to you, Jack London, and your drug-fueled 19-hour-a-day writing schedule! All you did was write about dogs! Wait what am I saying--THAT RULES

- finally made optometrist appointment
- finally made pelvic exam appointment
- emailed a guy about a job I'm applying to
- printed out everything I need for upcoming dreaded Pittsburgh trip
- met with flailing student
- wrote SIX emails to additional flailing students
- made four-year plan for additional flailing student and talked them into changing their major from Chemistry (!) to Art (!!)
- downloaded entire book I want to assign a chapter of next year
- filled out my day-planner up to December
- met with student I tried to convince to drop out of school but to no avail
- successfully actually ate something (apple pie)
- changed paper due date to much awesomer date
- prepped for class which is in 30 minutes

NAILING IT

LARGE WINE

knock on wood, there are still a lot of hours in the day for me to fuck up in a dire fashion

  • arijkem you can major in chem and art if you can pass chem 101!!! which may or may not have been the case with this student
  • I take it back. Killed it after work yesterday. My client cancelled so I went to the grocery store, cooked a rad dinner for myself, did 3 loads of laundry (including my bedsheets!), ate ice cream, talked to the Apple customer service guy, then rode my bike all the way from NE 12th/Ainsworth to SE 30th/Belmont, in the DARK AND RAIN, to go to craft night where I added maybe two rows to the scarf I've been trying to knit for five years and ruined my friend's cheese project. Then I rode all the way back and watched the Sopranos before lights out. ALL IN ONE EVENING!
