@MZ, to be fair, I still haven't seen the real deal yet, just the so-delicious brand (sodelicious is based out of Eugene so maybe we just get their stuff early by proximity).

classic high school move. Took two tablespoons of it and was out of it for almost three days. Apparently I went to work (I don't remember this) and they sent me home for being weird. In a night of feverish sleep I was unable to walk to the bathroom and had to crawl on the floor, only there was a godawful whirlpool in the carpet that threatened to suck me under. UGH.

I agree that the coco nog is thin and I wish it were thicker
but I think you can't get a vegan nog any thicker, can you?? If you can, tell me and I will buy it

Seems like vegan nog would benefit from chia seeds/chia pudding... Mike made some and it's super thick slimy delicious. You could probably extract the seeds after it went all gelatinous.

S/O to Bobbie. Nutmeg. Me too. My college year. Maybe three tablespoons. Three days. Basically death except with pain, nausea, and disorientation. I woke up and it was morning. Woke again and it was night. Woke again and it was morning again. Woke again and it was night. At that point I thought maybe I should try to get out of bed. I crawled to the bathroom and rolled into a tub of hot water. I fell asleep (people die this way. Don't do this.) woke up in a cold tub and crawled back to bed. The third day I had a pounding headache and felt anemic but was able to continue my meander in the world. Just say no to spice abuse.

I will say that the Califia Farms almond nog is VERY GOOD.
Been rocking the Strauss Farms nog as well.
BEST ONE OF ALL THOUGH SO FAR: Traders Point. SO GOOD. Not very sweet!

is Straus Farms a "good company" I can feel slightly less guilty about w/r/t animal cruelty? I'm interested in getting together a list of dairy I can feel slightly less ashamed of eating. Straus family ice cream is so fucking good. I assume their cows are tortured all day long just like all dairy animals. wouldn't it be cool to discover 'twere not the case??

I've read good things about Organic Valley but that's all I know

I've known dairy farmers and in general they did not torture their cows. I think a lot of the operations are not like the meat farming situations with animals crammed in a pen, eating each other.
