  • @the_owls I wish I had thought to ask you for a run-down... I know I can learn it, but I want to appear competent from the start. DON'T GET SICK! Crossing fingers for you.

@alex GOOD LUCK! Do you have a dentist/like your dentist?
  • @arijkem just poke stuff on the screen, it's that easy! anything you touch will open up the window you'd expect it to.

they will probably have the system set up to only allow seating that makes sense for them, aka OT probably won't let you reserve a table of 6 people at a 2 top or at some time when it's already occupied.
it does a lot of the thinking for you, and then when you become super hostess/server you can do overrides because you have your own cool ideas.
  • Arijkem, may I humbly mention Libby as a producer of cheap/fine wares?
They are a major restaurant supplier and made in USA (maybe not all I'm not sure). Some of their stuff ends up a dollar store... If you shop in town check the restaurant supply warehouses around east broadway and Flanders.

Alex I am about to be in same boat. Haven't been in at least 12 years and just got insurance
  • LT/Alex - I really like my dentist, Kevin Morich at Macadam Dental. Their office is fancy and relaxing and they're a cute husband/wife dentist team.

Looks like they've got Libbey at Boxer, which is on my list ^_^ thanks!
  • I'm about to get some benefits and hit up that dentist my damn self. Been about 2 years. I brush and floss every day tho, so I'll probably be ok.

Congrats on benefits, MZ! And good luck, Alex. FYI - my sister is a dentist and I quite frequently ask questions for friends about tooth-related issues. If you need a second opinion, she's quite good at what she does.

I didn't even get my roommates sickness, which is a gnarly cold, but rather a stomach flu/food poisoning sickness.

if given the choice, obvs. would have chosen the former.
    :/

doesn't appear to be actual full flu, though, so yay?
also did a lot of stuff from my list beforehand!
  • I did everything on my list but #6 so basically I am the world's greatest genius
  • Oh did you mean short-term todo lists rather than long-term? I only have long-term goals.
  • edited February 2013
I have only one item: avoid making lists.
    Done!

    Wait a minute....

  • Hey - for a second there I was able to go in and edit my list with a strikeout, but now I'm not able to. Confused. And very eager to indicate that I found my missing $550 (thank god)!
  • Never mind! I now see it says "Edit(1 day)." I guess that makes sense, but not in this thread.
