Watching the Returns

edited November 2012
Where are you guys going to watch the election returns tomorrow night? I just checked and Spirit of '77 is airing the OPB coverage. Pretty good place to watch I think- plenty of seating, good food and Pop a Shot when your nerves just can't take it. Someone suggested Ron Toms but I don't want to just be standing around all night. 8 years ago I went to Holocene and that was pretty good.

Spirit of '77 anyone?

Comments

  • I'm having a potluck. I like to eat when I'm nervous. All are welcome. We don't have pop a shot, though...
  • I'm headed to Radio Room.
  • Spirit of 1977 sounds fun!

  • Tips on where to stream the best streams from my computer?
  • I'm hanging out at my mother in law to be's house and showing her how to use cable to watch MSNBC.
  • I'll be at Beaulahland. I was going to go to Doug Fir with the Bus kids, but I bet they'll be bummed when/if Smith loses. Be careful out there there will be a lot of drunk happy/pissed people on the road tonight.
  • Watching via home television antenna broadcast.
I have been standing fast by my team but this superPAC ad is kind of pushing me to the other side...
  • Don't stress yourself out: call.barackobama.com is a good way to stay occupied.
  • NBC news stream at home where it's warm.
  • Looks like Barack snagged Washington despite my vote for Stein. Kind of jealous that Oregon is too close to call.
  • Barry did it you guys.
  • SHAUN!
  • OHIO! Thanks Ohio... you didn't embarrass me this time
  • First openly gay senator is awesome
  • Also according to some guy who was retooted by someone I follow said that Obama has more electoral votes than bush had ever and I looked it up on Wikipedia and it seems to be true which is pretty cool
  • Well ain't that a hoot.

Lots of good stuff happened all around the country! Look out for more of those marriage laws over the next few years, capitalizing on the success we're seeing this cycle.

Oregon did well, too. We elected some good people. Abolished the corporate kicker, piece of garbage that it was. Rejected a tax cut for rich dead people. Pretty nice.
  • Oh god, how am I ever going to catch up on twitter?
  • Interesting about Puerto Rico! 51st state?

All good in Washington (state run pot stores?) except for a piece of anti-tax awfulness.
