New all-ages venue in portland?
Mecca Normal (awesome), Rebecca Gates (whose new album is a gorgeous headphone listen) and Amenta Abioto are playing at a new venue that has some attachment to Rock Camp for Girls.
I don't know anything about it except that Mecca Normal keep getting better and better everytime I see them, Rebecca is an amazing songwriter, and my old friend Katherine from the Swinomish reservation--one of the most inspiring and talented old-school DoS teens--has something to do with this happening, which is deeply exciting for me. YEAH!
