A Pop Pleasure

J-Dawg and I are totally into The Voice. We stream the Hulus. We are almost caught up to the TV. It is a fun thing to do. Some of the people are really great performers. My mind is frequently blown. Tears often spill. Seriously.

    It's only two epis a week, Kdawg! And it's on Hulu! Watch when you want. As many times as you like. Nobody will check.

    It's our show. A few minutes in the morning and a full episode at night. Somehow we missed the news that the season had started (that's what you get when you don't TV) so we've been catching up. There is a fresh one tonight and tomorrow that we will see next week.

    We have a side game going where we try to guess which coach the singer will pick. There's always a quiet moment of suspense before they make their picks, that's when we call it. Winner gets a point. J-dawg is one point up on me.

    If nothing else, I am grateful to The Voice for steering J-dawg straight about evil beings like Christina Aguilera. When Christina cut the amazing soul singer in the semi-finals last year (was it Jesse?) J-dawg burst into tears like I have never seen her react to anything before. Never too soon to learn about the Christinas of the world.
