    It's funny that for the last 10 years or so ( since GWB took office ) the GOP has pounded the fact that actors and entertainers should SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT POLITICS, NO ONE CARES. Then they trot out this old stammering man.

    I can't believe that when called upon to cast favorable light on the actors of Hollywood, the best he could come up with was.... Jon Voigt!!!!!!!!!! That just blows my top off.

    You are thinking, what’s a movie tradesman doing out here? You know they are all left wingers out there... That is not really the case. There are a lot of conservative people in Hollywood. It is just that the conservative people by the nature of the word itself play closer to the vest. They do not go around hot dogging it.

    They are there, believe me, they are there. I just think, in fact, some of them around town, I saw Jon Voight, a lot of people around.

    Jon’s here, an academy award winner. A terrific guy. These people are all like-minded, like all of us.

    I notice: that he is using the term "Conservative" to include people across party lines.

    I find that to be very interesting.... if that is how things are to come, I find that very interesting indeed.

    I like the Betty White idea! But I'm sure O's team will play it straight this week.

    I don't think it's fair to whine about Maddow unpacking the Inside Baseball conversation, because her take on it (in comparison to nearly everyone else) is focused on deconstructing that conversation.

    Her bit on afghanistan tonight was really powerful.
