Friend Looking For Sublet - Sep 10 to 24th or so...

Hey, a friend from Australia is coming to Portland for about two weeks in September and rather than a hotel I thought a sublet would be better. Now is your chance to rent out your house and get out of town! Let me know if you're interested.

    Quick note: his dates are Sep 10 - 24 or so; he's pretty flexible and doesn't have to stay at your place the whole time, though it would be nice if he was set up for most of his stay.

    I told bigmac about this post and his response was, "What would you do with him? Where would he sleep?" I did not have an immediate answer to this question (the latter one), but I think we could come up with something.

    To be clear: we do not have an extra BEDROOM - but we have extra space during that time. Like a three-walled studio. The space would not be all that private. And: a big furry white dog would most likely wander through the space occasionally/often, trying to lie on top of your friend. We have a couch, but no extra bed. So...I guess there are significant barriers. But I would be willing to do my best to overcome them if your friend wants to stay here.
