this guy has offered me a job of doing this for him because he is one of those people that has hardly ever touched a computer and also doesn't have time to do things like this. but he doesn't know how much to pay me and i don't know how much to ask for, cause it's like super simple, but would take quite awhile because he has a ton of cds and his computer is slow. i just have no freakin clue. what do you guys think?

an hourly rate....it would take many hours, but not, like, hundreds. Also technically involves "expertise" even though it is not a hard thing to do....maybe suggest like 10 bucks an hour? That's what you'd get doing data entry for a temp agency. Seems like pretty similar work.
