I was REALLY ANNOYED by the first person POV narration of the bear. I thought the execution of most of this was really awesome. But just tell the story without pretending to be the bear, you know?
Alex- you are not alone in your critique of the narration. when this launched at sundance this year that was a common grumble. but what do you think about the interactive side? while i still think the overall idea of an interactive documentary has a ways to go, this is a pretty interesting step (coming from the pov of a film person, not a web person). from a tech/design side would you say this is a pretty innovative thing, or are there lots of examples of this sort of thing out there that i just haven't seen?
I found it interesting but kind of annoying after awhile. The locations and films didn't seem to have much weight to me, and after awhile I was just letting the time run down without doing anything to see the rest of the film. Agree about the narration, but the delivery and subject is interesting for sure. I've seen a few of these types of projects, but can't really think of many off the top of my head aside from the radiohead ones.

i want to nerd talk about this amazing new hybrid interactive documentary / website. it is so good! even if it's a bit of a (100%) tear-jerker.
THIS IS THE FIRST 'WEB-ART' THAT MADE ME CRY!
