  • No I have not read A Wrinkle In Time. What is it about?
  • One of my favorite books is called The Once and Future King by T.H. White. It is about King Arthur. I mainly remember the character of Merlin the Magician. Merlin is living backward in time. He is getting younger while everyone else is getting older. His situation is very confusing to him because he knows the future but not the past.

A Wrinkle in Time is pretty great! I read it when I was about your age. I don't remember the details because I read it so long ago, but I remember that it is kind of science fiction-y. Some family members find a way to travel across vast space and time to save their Dad, I think. It is about the universe having parts that are very very big and very very small. And I remember it is about the power of love. It is really great.

It looks like you and some of your friends have been reading some books lately. What are you reading? Is it fun to read?
  • I concur with your dad, it is science fiction-y and about the power of love. I thought it was amazing when I was a young lady. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it if you decide to read it.
  • Once and Future King was great.

I am in Alaska with Bzin and his folks, and I picked up a copy of The Phantom Tollbooth. I can confirm that it has stood the test of time; still highly recommended. Also, I really hope that J-Dawg will consider reading From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and/or Harriet the Spy soon - I really think those would be good options!
  • Dear the owls what is the cats name? What book is he reading?
  • Looks like a fan of Pooh.

JDawg, I don't know much about this cat- I met him on the internet, where no one has to say who they are or what they want!

I just like how he's acting like a person :P
