My sister is looking for a home for her kitty! Details:
"A few months ago Trevor and I adopted a stray cat from my parents' neighborhood. It was really sweet and really skinny and we thought with our hearts instead of our heads. We already had one cat and it's just too much for us. Actually, he's the sweeter of the two kitties. He just wants to cuddle (and eat). We've been calling him Monty. He's fixed, had his shots, has been declawed in the front (strange that he was a starving stray) and is pretty good with Calvin and our other cat, only minor hissing. Our cat, on the other hand, has claws and is sick of this young hooligan around here. The vet estimated Monty is about 2 years old. He still occasionally chases his tail, but not much so he's just got a little "kitten" left in him. He's put on lots weight, sleeps on our bed every night and is always looking for a warm lap. I am sending this your way, not expecting any of you to adopt him, but I thought maybe you'd know someone who wants him in the Salem-Portland area. I know how briefly humane societies keep cats and I can't bear the thought of that for him."
