I know a legit business that uses services similar to this. They do software and have a distributed team of engineers, so they use this service to centralize things for their customers.

It was funny before they woke up on the east coast and fixed it - an enormously long string of emails (relating to how one copies and pastes info, if there is an "easier way" than command + c, repeated "did you do it?" queries) was within the posting.
This weekend someone "returned" my old couch (which I'd posted on the CL Free section) to the street corner where they had picked it up 2 MONTHS AGO. AND it was missing a cushion!
SO MANY QUESTIONS Why not take it to the Goodwill if you went to the trouble of putting it in your car? Since when did CL Free have a return policy? Why did they do it on the only day it was raining, when dude is out of town, and the day after the neighborhood cleanup accepting furniture 1/2 block away?
Easily the most confusing CL experience I've ever had.

A "fake business" sort of proposition. This is new to me, but I guess it shouldn't be surprising.
