It's cool they were able to make so many of them and that they are so dense. Now when I scroll through Netflix back into the late-first and mid-second seasons, I find episodes that seem fresh even though I must have seen them before.
Yeah, that's what's so cool about shows like The Simpsons, 30 Rock, Community, &c. So many jokes that you're bound to laugh at something new when you rewatch them.
I read somewhere that 30 Rock averages three jokes a second or something crazy like that. Just an unreal barrage of jokes. The actors talk about how hard it is to nail those incredibly complex long sentences super fast over and over again
Parks and Rec is a show that i love, in part because it is about democracy and while ultimately it is anything but cynical, it is not unwilling to engage cynicism. This I think is the most fundamental organizing challenge of 2013.
