  • THE BEST. And your Dad gets So Mad at you. Still worth it.
  • Most of my memories of church are boredom to a level that is nearly painful. So much bad coffee breath on people at church, but I didn't know about coffee then!
  • I've only been to church like 5 times in my life and I hate it so much.
It makes me actively so bummed out on humanity.

HOWEVER, there are two major caveats:

    1. I've only been to church in small-town Texas ("the lies of the liberal media" discussed in sermons!)

    2. I've never been to a church with a decent choir. I know this would significantly change my experience
  • Boredom and Horror Birth Maniacal Teenage Inspiration! The hell of church was responsible for some of my more glorious schemes, as a youth-person.
  • Me and my naughty Catholic gfs would sing in a comical opera style during mass. We also passed the time by guessing the finger-spelled words on each other's arm
  • Just for argument's sake I wish to always reserve the right to worship my celebridieties apart from whatever mortal decisions their boring, real-world alter egos make. Not that I will exercise the right with this particular heart breaker. Isn't she famous for being in that band that has Cartman from South Park as the singer
  • I get this. My Mom, who shuns almost all of my boyfriends for not being "solid life partners" is a to-the-death proponent of Mick Jagger as a Dream Guy. Her holy fanhood of this dude has absolved him of all his mortal follies. WWW.MICKJAGGER.COM

  • Way back to something Mikey said. And was wrong about. ;)

Entertainment/Cultural revenues actually tend to do very well in lean economic times.

The Depression was huge for music, movies and sports.

I need Frogtor. I don't know what do to. Nothing makes any sense.

  • Adam, I really hope you take that survey and get your impoverished PDX avant musician friends to take it as well, depressing as it may be! It's really important that we get some hard data from people like you.

RyRy, are you a musician? Did you used to be in a rock band and now you do like, electropop? If so, i have seen you perform and you are awesome at it.

  • i took the whole survey, boss. you know i got your back on all this she and i know you are working hard out there to rep for music and art. respect.

edit: NM I FOUND THAT SHEE AND I HIT THAT SHEE
  • also, kdawg, who wrote that survey cause the questions were really good, specific and surprisingly "in the zone" w/out seeming to have any overt agenda behind.
  • Thanks Alan!

I think Kristin Thomson who used to co-own/run Simple Machines was the primary author.
  • RyRy sculpts hairs.
