My entire childhood I hated peanut butter so much. I wouldn't even eat our jam because there was always peanut butter residue in the jar. Then when I became a vegetarian I fell in love with peanut butter. When I really want to treat myself I put butter and peanut butter on toast. It's like I shouldn't be allowed to have both. But I do!
There was a place in New York, last time I was there, called something like Peanut Butter & Co., and they had a peanut butter and cream cheese with sliced apples on toast sandwich that was amazing. They also had a Jalapeno peanut butter that you could buy. Those cookies sound weird. I don't know how I feel about spicy peanut butter.
APPLE SLICES is my fave way to eat peanut butter. Sometimes I'll be like "I want a treat...but I can't think of a treat!" and Gary will say "it seems like you really enjoy apple slices with peanut butter" and I'll say "OH YEAH" and be so stoked.
SUCH A GREAT TREAT, A HEALTHY TREAT, A PORTABLE TREAT
Crisp tangy honeycrisp apple slice with classy hippie grind-your-own peanut butter on it? GET OUTTA TOWN
PB is also very good dumped in a smoothie. beet kale carrot apple juice yogurt flaxseed lime ice blueberries peanut butter????? WHY IS IT GOOD
I just had an English muffin with PB! That was in my original comment that must've been deleted by some OVERZEALOUS MODERATOR. Probably because of the semen comment?
I love English Muffin, and I never buy them! It's like I forget about them until I see one in a movie or at someone's house, and I remember how much I love them, but when I'm actually buying bread I never think of them.
THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. So much better than any regular toast or maybe even bagel??? Not counting real old-fashioned Jewish salt bagel, but still
They have English muffins at Jive Software, where I work 3 days a week, so I have one every morning with that crunchy natural Adams shee. That and a banana are the best combo.
Also, I would like to mention that way back in Ye Olden Tymes, when UHX was just a tiny baby (immediately post-Red Pages, I think??!!), and I knew almost none of you fine people, it was HERE that I read the magic of asking Jamba Juice to add peanut butter to yr Berry Blast smoothie. Though they don't have that flavor any more, and I only get the all fruit ones these days, I'd like to thank you all for this useful information and excellent advice.
>>English Muffin, probably the best thing those people have ever been involved with.
Dude great minds think alike yet again I have been talking mad smack on the British Isles ever since I started reading Game of Thrones (a true history of England)

I like it almost everywhere else, but not mixed in with spinach and blueberries and yogurt and stuff. It's TOO WEIRD.

It makes for the best deserts.
Also, spicy PB yes! Lip G, don't you enjoy a peanut sauce based meal with some hot sauce?
