Kickstarter goal reached! Seven bonus days!

Thank you so much backers and everyone who helped spread the word! We have reached our goal and can send the issue to press. This is super exciting!

We still have seven days left on this Kickstarter project, which means people can continue to pledge and receive the amazing rewards that have been generously donated—lots of great things left including original artwork by Michael Brophy, Storm Tharp, Ed Fella, Midori Hirose, as well as signed books, silkscreen posters, and more.

As previously announced, any pledges we receive above and beyond our printing and shipping costs will go to presenting work and performances at our 20th Anniversary Party on August 20th at Disjecta in Portland, and also to the printing of the subsequent issue.

Thanks again, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Kickstarter – Ed Fella original drawing

Thanks to all of the supporters who have donated so far to our Kickstarter. We are over 90% of the way to our goal, we have a week to go.

Here’s a one-of-a-kind drawing by Ed Fella, especially for Plazm #30. Thanks, Ed, for offering this up as a prize for our Kickstarter.

If we manage to exceed our goal, half of any extra funds will go toward presenting performances at our 20th anniversary party August 20th at Disjecta in Portland, and half toward printing our next magazine.

Plazm is Kickstarter’s Project of the Day in periodicals

Well, lookee who’s Kickstarter’s Project of the Day! It’s our print bill fundraiser campaign. We’re doing well, but we still need your help and we have loads of excellent rewards for our donors.

Including new rewards that weren’t there a week ago. We’ll also replace the Post-Art prize and the Book Lovers Prize soon, since they were snapped up fast.

We want to thank our reward/prize contributors for making all this possible. Now, before we start sounding any more like an NPR member drive, we’ll shut up and just let you give us your hard-earned cash.

Plazm Kickstarter – support our 20th anniversary issue

Plazm #30: our 20th Anniversary Issue

We’ve got another big, beautiful magazine ready to go to press. Issue #30 features David Lynch, Bruce Sterling, and many other excellent artists and writers. We just need donations to help print it. We even got a grant, because high quality printing on truly good paper is very expensive these days and we like to keep our cover price affordable enough for regular people.

Unfortunately, our printer was bought out by another company that can’t honor our original bid, so we’re scrambling to raise the extra funds, extra fast. Help make it happen! You’ll win fabulous rewards, and if you request it, we’ll be happy to provide a receipt for your taxes—Plazm is now published by a nonprofit, New Oregon Arts & Letters.

Celebrate two decades of Plazm with us. Donate today.
