It’s the release of local beatsmith Copy’s (Marius Libman) debut CD/LP on Portland’s exploratory electronic label Audio Dregs, busting out the gates with an excellent new release of transcendent melodics paired with hard hitting beats.
Also, the new brother label, Fryk Beat, marks its debut with two new 12″ vinyl slabs marking a return to Bobby Birdman’s old stomping grounds for his first show in Portland in some time, as well as everyone’s favorite solo electro “performance artist” known as Panther (aka Charlie from The Planet The).
Followed by a dance party with Beyonda, DJ Copy, and DJEDJ.
I wish I could make it down to Portland for this, but I have to work. I will be attending the show in Seattle the next night with Bobby Birdman, Panther, and YACHT at gallery 1412. Anyone in Seattle should go! Party! Dance! Fun! Fun! Fun! Oh yeah, I’ll be picking up the Fryk Beat vinyl from dudes while they are in Seattle, but when will I be able to order the Copy disc from you?
