  1. I once owned that same univox dumb machine! it was fun… but not so much fun that wanted to keep it around. it was left behind in olympia.

    It’s good for doing cover versions of Suicide songs though.

  3. yeah, i would run it through a boss ‘bass synthesizer’ pedal and it would sound great… it would kind of write it’s own basslines too.

    oh yeah, good idea. i used that crappy yamaha dumb machine i bought in high school the same way. like overdrive it with some distortion and get some nice overtones that don’t exist in the crappy preset sounds.

    hey, thankx for the eye photos. pretty rad.. Probably one of the few people who could get away with writing “punk” with broken matchsticks on a ripped up piece of cardboard. The blue “hair” record is pretty wicked too…
