That title is a George Jones reference for the country-phobic out there. This Sunday we had another cupping in the back office. Jason had it all set up and then we waited and waited and waited… It was looking like a two person job when Katie came in and joined up.
We cupped two coffees from Guatemala, one from Ethiopia, and finished up with the Blue Batak from Sumatra. The Pacamara was a little flat, but the day was saved by the utter deliciousness of the Wondo. As for the Blue Batak, well there are some definite fans of Indonesian coffee on the staff, but I’m not one of them.
Anyway, it was a nice way to ring in the afternoon and I had a little extra energy for the gym in the afternoon. Maybe next time, a few more FPers will show up…
