the prefix to the remix

Ratatat’s remix album, feat Brooklyn Zoo, leaves hot-chills with its locomotive properties. Faves: a funeral-organ version of Ghost & Jadakiss’ “Run”; “Fix Up Look Sharp” (whose original success was based on spaces in beats), whips by in a tilt-a-whirl of just-off, messy rhythm—and hearing Lazer Life whisper “Ratatat” like they’re Neptunesian rock mystics.
Where does the big Foreigner rock riff belong? Right in Missy’s middle. Thank you Michael J. and Eddie Van for the hors d’oeuvres.

Boy, Ratatat’s website is weird. It’s like they aren’t even a hotshot indie band/production duo. It’s like they’re a young married couple with a baby and a digital camera. Is it symbolic?

that is an awesome website. i think it is symbolic. to me it symbolized people who are so cool they are themselves, and its cool. but then again, never hearing their music, maybe they are not cool

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is… here’s the real website, and I was totally ready to love ratatat based on that awesome anglo steez on the unrelated link Julianne has up: ratatatmusic.com

its funny how i pertend to not know what anglo people do but i’ve been to every city those guys from the unrelated Ratatat web site took picture of, and I love madison, san fran and yosemite.
we are all related = mitkuye oyasin = lakota for we are all related.
now if we can just get this racism sizzy which makes people of colors lives suck, we’d be allllllright (like Lou Reed sings it)
haven’t gone to the real ratatat web site, might not go to it
