P.S. I should add something about the “bad dream” superstition. 1) My mom first ALWAYS says “there is no such thing as bad dreams.” 2)In addition to spitting, you’re also supposed to say (in Russian)”Kudah notch, tudah sohn” (Where the night goes, there the dream goes).
