Cynthia Nelson Band is celebrating the release on local artist-owned label Nonstop Co-op of In a Lab, Cynthia Nelson’s third solo album collaboration with Dusty Reske of Rocketship. Four years in the making, this album contemplates the deep science that is sometimes involved in achieving one’s dreams. Cynthia Nelson Band elaborates on these songs and dives into the fresh ponds of newer, more folky-psychedelic material, taking advantage of the substantial talents of Marisa Anderson, Katy Davidson, Daphna Cohn, and Margaret Douglas.
