the inability to sleep
coffee
beautiful sky
traffic like the ocean
a steady breaking of wave
train whistle like stacato synth stabs in a bad bad song
all night they played a phased fifth
off the chambers the buildings making echos
our windows don't close
nor are they covered in light blocking materials

thanksgiving practicing upstairs for hours. smooth reggae full band wafting. then the staccato train horns all night. jesus those guys make bad music sometimes. (the trains, i mean, not the dudes upstairs) accidental annoying minimalism music. what could be such a soothing echo of sound is just a bunch of random blasts triggered by 4am speedfreak train conductors. or maybe i just wasnt in the mood. that and the rush of monday am traffic on the 5. i should be less dark. i should enjoy this skyscape. this industrial birdsnest with its strange new drones. i should build us a dark isolation hut within our space. like khaela theoretically did. did she really? we see her and melissa cutting up pallets for flooring in the work room. we offer home made cookies and poor tips on prying boards. i guess i need some 2x4s and some drywall. and curtis. that man can WALL. yeah. maybe some heavy drapes, pexi-glass and caulk. or i could just get over it. accept the new sounds. get some fucking ear plugs. some speakers pumping soothing sounds for baby. some more speaker wire and a better amp. remote controls and a dedicated hard drive archive of all of our music. a record player, a couch. some diamonds and a salt crystal for honey's ongoing battle with static shock.
yesterday i went up to the marriage office/bathroom and davis was asleep on the couch. we listened to a morning raga and jesse came over and we hit the singing bowl and the water jug. i made computer sine waves for a second. later in the day h and i were jamming hard for real. god it was a groove
our new band chocolate milk, or perhaps its cold nose, or is it dark secret, or is it dark yoga. maybe dark secret, dark yoga. fuck.
