it has been a tumultuous week. honey finally had the big blow out with mark and has officially turned in her key to dunes. he was of course completely unappreciative of her commitment over the last three years. so its just a big depressing let down. total bummer for her and for me a little too. but then the next day we were both asked to work at that new sandwich shop some friends of ours opened down town. gourmet sandwiches and its open late night. they just got done with construction and are open for business. we train on how to make the food and i will be working 3 times a week and honey will work twice a week there. its the jackie-o guy's roommates who started it so we all get to work there. its really really fancy. and located on this old alleyway and the building is 100 years old and brick so you really feel like you are in europe. nice tall ceiling with old windows that are the entire front wall. so that is good.
honey and i have played about 3 or 4 shows in the last week and a half as well. just randomly we have been asked to play all these shows.

she is coming down at the end of this coming week for a weekend with her mother and i am playing a show by myself in her absence.

i have been really sick again this week. this is the first morning i feel a bit better. just so many allergies that turn into infections in my nose throat and chest. summer colds. yuk.
that bad painting job i had ended because i got sick and when i was ready to go back he already got a bid on the house....so he's made his money...

anyway, looks like the summer is going to find its rhythm and things are just starting to click. honey is a free woman now. this has been like a long breakup from an abusive relationship. so maybe in a while we will have to think of something positive to throw both of our energies into.....we are open to ideas.

love
adam
