its calm and quiet and forested and nice
was totally fun
first off foque mopus are rapidly becoming like, one of my favorite bands, dudes.
then weird old mcloud "zicmuse" played as le ton mite with a 'technically electrifying" cellest. great set, cool props nice lines.
then world played, did some guitar washes and then settled into a very quiet singing, drumming, double flute chant that i think brought the room into presence, everyone got really quite and it was tender and intense and you could feel the energy that something was happening, whatever that something was/is.
the dirty projectors set was really raw. dave was pretty sick and the drum set was terrible but we just went for a really weird off-kilter vibe that sorta worked...

ok dudes, whats up
so im just gearing up to leave town for a spell
first on tour with the dirty projektors and WORLD
then going out to woodstock NY to record with devendra and the wooden lazer sheba family
i'll be there on my birthday (march 27th).........i'll be 29! awkward age. not quite 30, no longer really in yr 20's..
a few shows in new york and maybe philli
then back home most of april and then tour europe with JOMF then devendra from may - august 14th or so
in the mean time im trying to hurry up and get white rainbow ZOME cd out and finish up the white rainbow box set material before i leave forever.....
i guess that makes me busy.
so i might not be updating this thing too much with funny links to new age ashrams and shit
i just google stupid stuff anyway
