New interview series called LOT TALKS hosted by Steve (of States Rights Records, Urbanhonking co-founder), who has put out more than his fair share of White Rainbow (Zome and Sky Drips Drifts).
There is also an exclusive mp3 from White Rainbow up at www.statesrightsrecords.com

"SPATIAL EXPANSION, THE ONENESS AND THE SUCHNESSOrganized by the Collective Field, an ongoing collective initiated by Hammer Projects artist Claude Collins-Stracensky, this light-and-sound performance will take place in the lobby next to Collins-Stracensky's installation and Gallery 6 next to the courtyard. Engaging new forms of aural and visual expression, a diverse group of performers will transform the museum's lobby and Gallery 6 with soundscapes and light fields.
The Gallery 6 lineup will include
White Rainbow
Jeff Perkins (FLUXUS DUDE!, lightscaping),
Lucky Dragons (interactive sounds),
John Williams (light/sound sculpture performance),

ps do you know about the constantly updated white rainbow tumblr?
crazy mirrored and kaleidoscoped footage of the last ever White Rainbow show played from within a zome dome glow tent thing, way back in October of 2007! thanks to folkyeah britt for setting up that awesome show (with Aakron Family, as i remember it) and for getting this footage together.
White Rainbow Live @ Henry Miller Library from (((folkYEAH!))) on Vimeo.
this was the softest show of the tour:
(listen for the dude scolding the crowd right as i end..pretty funny!)
just got back from the shows with Deerhunter, No Age, Dan Deacon, Infinite Body and Ed Schrader, and boy what a tour it was. shit was nuts (see below for video and stuff). I am completely and thoroughly exhausted to the core. I should be asleep, but.....
to ease myself back into the real world of portland, i will be joining Rob Walmart tonight in special one-time only Live Internet Radio Broadcast of a Texas Hold 'Em tournament for real money. 10-12pm Pacific Standard time on radio23.org plenty of just-got-off-tour exhausted blabbering of road stories will surely ensue. JOIN US!
its been crazy!
here are some vids i found of some of the shows....
this is my general expression most of the time on this tour, a majestic combination of innocent wonder, stress, elation, confusion and maybe farting:

(more flickrs here)

fresh out of bed, rob rolled in to the festy around 2:30 yesterday with some extra members we picked up at the day labor center around the corner and proceeded to bring the raw van jamz to the kids out on the street in the blazing hot sun. rob managed to: piss off the sound dude, fluster a couple of festival volunteers worried about dudes climbing on top of the van, give away around 30 lionel t-shirts and countless I'm Your DJ digital download codes and gain a new SK-1 wizard junior member (nice to meet you Emory!) before bouncing the fuck out. SWEET!
to quote the festival's own live-blog review of the set:
the Rob Walmart van rolled up blasting a post-apocalyptic mish mash of hip-hop, techno, world beats, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Like much of the most interesting parts of the Portland music scene, Rob Walmart excels at creating an anarchic atmosphere, a world where all the adults and authority figures have vanished and the kids are making up the rules as they go, sometimes ending up with something more pure and vivacious and soemtimes wandering into brutish meaninglessness. You know, like in that one Souh Park episode.
