We All Little Butties

Soo...what's up with Charlie? Boardies are saying maybe he has the "island sickness" that was alluded to earlier, but could it just be that he's seeing things like everyone else? Obviously, his visions are wrapped in some bigger delusional dreams, but they seem pretty much in line with Regular Island Crazy Shit. I appreciated that everyone is freaked out for Claire (I would be freaked out if every time I wasn't watching my baby, someone tried to steal him. Though, aren't the others a little like, "Okay with the screaming already--we GET it; the baby's gone. AGAIN."?), but it seems like everyone has seen something unexplainable (dead father wandering around much) or had something weird happen to them, and it's baffling that NO ONE thinks that MAYBE Charlie's dreams might have something to do with the island. Plus, wouldn't it be pretty easy to tell if he'd been using again? I like how Locke bothered to track him, spy on him, and then busts him before learning what he was going to do with the stash. Laaaaaame.

Everyone is pretty sure Libby has something to do with something. The most vanilla of theories has her at the mental institute where Hurley was sent. It escalates from there. Does she know something about the numbers? Is she an Other who got to the island another way, or had something to do with Hurley and the plane getting there in the first place? I think it was very foretelling that Hurley "recognized" her, and she sort of invented this toe-stepping memory. Real Girl mentions that there is much boardie kafuffle about this as she was seated in the BACK of the plane, and Hurley would not have passed her on his way to his seat at the beginning of the flight. She also emailed me this: "And slutty Libby! Turn around so I can get naked behind you, big boy. I'm so glad she has a party shirt for the island. That'll really deter the Others. They don't like parties." Haaa.

Thoughts on why did Locke didn't destroy the statues?

Did you notice polar bears in the giant crib?

Did Charlie's non-bleeding small cut really need stiches?

I missed the giant crib polar bears!!! Must find a screen cap. Also just to laugh. Because there was giant diaper choreography.

Claire? Never leave the baby. Not for fire, not for black smokey monsters, not for comets landing smack dab on the beach in blistering ruin. Trust us on this one, okay?

it's not just Charlie's crazy-shit---NOBODY is talking about the Island Crazy Shit! that is the main thing that is driving me nuts about this show. Oh, oops, we saw a polar bear that one time. Oh....yeah. Or, Hey Jack, Claire and I found this other hatch! HOW DARE YOU DO SOMETHING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION? And then no one goes to look at the other hatch? Like it's no big deal? It's so unrealistic the way people aren't like, "remember that monster who ate the pilot? what was that? and what is that black smoke that comes out and steals people? And I saw my dead dad walking around!" So them not attributing Charlie's crazies to the Island just felt like par for the course to me. ALSO, what's with all this food just laying around, and wine?? How come 40 people have not demolished that shit? How come the women all have shaved armpits?? AND FINALLY: you are all way smarter than me because I do not catch ANY of those amazing little things, like Nadia talking to Locke, or Kate's dad and Sayid on the TV, or anything. This blog is helping my life so much. Thank you.
