Karshie Come Lately

Bear with me y'all...it's been about a year since I actively used MT (pretty much since they went with 3.0). Shouldn't take much to get back in the swing of it; I've been coding with and using MT since 2.4. Also been blogging since '97 on different platforms ('97 - '99: hand-code on Geocities; '99 - '01: LiveJournal; '01 - '03: Blogger; '03 -present - Wordpress). God, now I feel old.
Let's see...what else. I love to write, read, make music and do graphic and web design. Pretty much everything in my little bio here. Other hobbies include taking sneaky pics of people on public transportation, getting drunk in bars, beating people at Scrabble and having sex. Not necessarily in that order, but that would be one helluva date.
Anywho, it's good to meet y'all...this should be quite an interesting competition.
P.S.: Yo Crash, how's about an alliance? We're both gay, both 24, and our names are anagrams...sorta.
P.P.S. Hey, I tried.
Karsh, I think I am in love with you. You have described the perfect date, and I am putty in your hands. Can we form a scrabble alliance? (I don't think you'll get very far with the gay/anagram connection. Two dudes does not an alliance make. You need a third in order to form the strongest geometric shape: triangle. Sonny, you in?)

Hey Karsh - I was going to note the same thing (gay/24/sorta-anagrams), but you beat me to it. I'm surprised to be here, queer... and not the only one. Let's kick some breeder ass and then fight like bitches among ourselves, ok?
Willow - Dumping me for Sonny already? How 'bout a foursome?

*counting fingers* Crash, Karsh, Willow, me. Okay, good. For a second there, I thought I was going to be left out.
And sharK, you're not old. Wait until you get to my age. I'm 25! A quarter century gone and what do I have to show for it? Maybe winning this contest will give my life new meaning.

Don't sweat it Sonny. You're totally in. We'll be the gay or straight/24 or 25 year old/scrabble-loving alliance. What could be stronger?

I want in too!!! Can we extend the age up just a little? Say, the gay/straight-twentysomething-scrabble-loving alliance?
I would vote in a G/S-T-S-L-A presidential ticket ANY DAY.

Did I miss something here? Instead of a post about food, I see a history of blogging lesson, a survivor alliance and apparently a gay meeting comment room.
Can someone tell me why? Is this ultimate blogger competition something like the ultimate JOKE on the participants?
Anyone?
This isn't my food post, interloper. Didn't they teach you to read the instructions before starting your worksheet? -- Karsh

Ah! So KARSH and CRASH are not one and the same. Methinks a strategic alliance may be in order.
Good luck Karsh!

How do you see the older Den posts? Am I missing a archives area?

Uh oh...you didn't just say what I think you said, did you? You brought up the topic, so now I can't let it go...
I've always been a Scrabble fan myself, playing occasional games with my family on the holidays and whatnot. But about two or three years ago, I took a serious interest in the game and joined the National Scrabble Association. I'm not a professional, but I love taking a board with me when I go out with friends to coffee shops and other scrabble-friendly venues. In my house, I probably have a dozen or so boards, dating back to the 1970s. Oh, I can talk about scrabble for a very long time, so I'll stop here. Glad to have you.
