Fat, Naked, or Gay

Trying to think of what to write for my first "official" post as an Ultimate Blogger has been a daunting task, but Rupert-esque Lois has inspired me to just dive right in.
So this is Crash. I'm 24. I live in Vermont. I blog, and I like it. In my entry for UB, I told the producers that I could be the Richard Hatch of this here contest -- that I wasn't above being fat, naked, or gay to win. Now that things have gotten rolling, I'm still not above that, but I'm hoping that I will be nicer than Mr. Hatch was -- or at least seen in a better light.

But seriously, it's the spirit of this contest that inspired me to enter and then to participate. I applied, way back when, to be a part of the second Survivor. Obviously, I didn't get in, but back then, the idea of reality TV was still fresh and exciting. I would never apply to be part of one of those shows today, but The UB contest appealed to me for some of the same reasons.
It's something new. It's something cool. It's something that not many people have done before. (And I really want to downgrade to an iPod shuffle, but I can't justify the expense for something I, essentially, already own.)
So, boys and girls, my Survivor references stop there. Welcome. I'm happy to be here. Now let the games begin.
Soon, have patience, I am in the office. Now is not the time to reveal my tits to corporate America. That is only for the day job.
