@yt I was such a paranoid mom, texting Mike to tell him to carry her home to save her paws, and then they came around the corner gambling and cavorting like the happiest pair. It took her a million years to find a place to make her dog d though, cau…
I did my 2.5 miles home. Going over the bridge was brutal, but otherwise good! Saw so many fender benders.
Mike is walking the dog baby home from work. I'm worried about her poor little dog paws and skinny little body. :(
WHAT? Time to visit the neighborhood wine store and buy a million boxes of pre-made soup. I made it around the block ok with multiple scarves wrapped around my face.
I'm seriously into getting snowed in this week, but we were going to do first Thur…
I did powder my hair, but I don't remember what with... something recommended I imagine., but it just felt like oily, powdery hair. Maybe I have too much hair for this business. After I buzzed my head I definitely didn't use shampoo for at least a y…
Just erg'ed out my work situation and life seems more manageable already! Save your back/neck, put those monitors in a healthy position.
Also the driver's seat... ERG IT OUT. Who cares if you look like a weird grandma while driving and Mike makes …
I thought it was really great too! One sort of sad thing I was noticing, and I think Mike and Zin too, was how hardened we are to maudlin movies... like regularly tensing in anticipation of some silly romantic trope being trotted out then being SO R…
I'm definitely going again; I think if i didn't get sick or woken up improperly it could be nice. I must have felt pretty relaxed to fall asleep so easily and deeply. Nearly every floating website says that some people get nauseated the first time b…
The tile is so ugly and weird. It makes it look like a giant, decrepit bathhouse, but otherwise I kind of like the building! BUT 95MM? That's like $150 a person. I don't know if I love it that much.
Just remembering Franklin's funny car console surfing and the time we snugged in bed watching movies. He's such a good and sweet boy and I'm thinking about you all. Poor snoops.
Back to work, but it's cool. Hanging out with my friend excel, calculating CAGRs.
Went to California for holiday: ate tasty food, shot guns, rode bikes, hiked, drank the largest white wines... good times!
Seems like vegan nog would benefit from chia seeds/chia pudding... Mike made some and it's super thick slimy delicious. You could probably extract the seeds after it went all gelatinous.
I've learned that Mike has no ability to judge calories. Like when I tell him his salad probably has 600 calories and he's shocked, despite the fact that I made it swim in olive oil and black beans and avocados.
Or when I baked sweet potato gratin …
I thought the dog was going to hate the snow because she's so skinny and cold, but she had fun and I was the one grumbling around the block while she fought and conquered sticks and Mike made fun of me for hating it so much.
