Oh dear. I wish there wasn't a damn time limit on our female bodies making healthy babies. Why do we start producing sick babies at such an early age!? I guess 35 used to be REALLY old.

Are you sure your friend's thing involved yoga, and not just meditation/silence/fasting? It sounds like a Vipassana retreat (they operate on donations, no fees). Never done a yoga retreat in Oregon.
