I am a professional crazy and I have some tips on how to make it all better.
When I am bothered by my own crazy energy I like going on brisk walks to tire myself. Then after that meditating, or reading, or a bath, or listening to Glenn Gould with the volume way down, or a combination of those things helps.
Talking about it with people tends to make things worse in my own experience, as it makes me focus on the crazy even more. Silence can be your friend sometimes.
Like mania? Like a thousand half-thoughts and the crushing desire to hold even one down? Undoing every decision a half second after deciding it?
I have that experience sometimes. Can be very frustrating and panic inducing when in the proximity of a significant moment. Caffeine obviously a nono. Not much advice beyond that, the list and the breathing.
Poor little mouse.
Thanks for sharing though. It's important. (Even though I agree with Joey that sometimes others just make it worse.)
Speaking of crazy, I'm producing show with Shafiq Husayn and OCnotes at DAHLAK Eritrean Cuisine in Seattle on Thursday. Take a ride on the 5? It is going to be amazing, but I'll probably lose my shirt. If anyone is curious, I'll point you to where you can buy a ticket and I lose less shirt.

I make notes about my crazy ideas and try to clean the house with some music on.
I see if I can find my to-do list or I make another one and do something from it.
I try not to worry about the crazy and think about my breath instead.
